We recognize Buzz Cafe's deep roots in Oak Park, and as its new guardians, we aim to bring fresh innovations, while staying true to its essence.
While Buzz Cafe gets a fresh touch, its soul remains unchanged. We're grateful that Laura Maychruk continues her involvement in the Oak Park community, ensuring the transition retains the cafe's warmth.

We are a local, sustainable, and Black-owned coffee company that partners with hardworking farmers worldwide to disrupt traditional practices and redistribute wealth back to them. Our Story
Born on a coffee farm, our founder Jacques Shalo’s coffee business was inevitable! Moreover, Shalo is dedicated to sustainably sourcing our green coffee beans directly from farms back home in Cameroon.
